Land Rover Discovery 1 fuel tank guard. Protect that vunerable plastic tank when off-roading. This is a serious piece of hardware that you will not bend as it is made from 5mm galvanised steel. Unlike most of the guards on the market this has sides welded into it adding massive strength. It mounts to the chassis at the front, both sides and to the cross member at the rear (6 attachment points). You can lift and support the whole rear end of the vehicle on this guard. It also has a mounting point for a detachable tow bar (not included). The tow bar mounting point holes are large enough to put a shackle through and use as a recovery point in its own right. Do not confuse this with the cheap guards sold on the net. I have found one company making a similar guard and they sell them at £165 + post + vat!
