I have just bought a car from Northern Ireland with this registration number and I will be putting my own number onto it - so the original cherished number is now for sale. I can transfer it onto a DVLA Retention Certificate or directly onto another vehicle and I will probably decide on which course of action to follow after this sale when I have spoken to the buyer.
